From
2000 to 2005, Mr. Sprinkmann worked for the 6 Civil
Engineer Squadron - Environmental Flight at MacDill
Air Force Base: a 5,600 acre installation in South Tampa.
Mr. Sprinkmann managed programs that saved the Air Force
over $2.3 million and diverted over 42,000 tons of solid
waste from landfills and incineration. This pioneering
recycling and waste diversion success story was recognized
by Recycle Florida Today in 2002, when MacDill Air Force
Base was awarded an ‘Outstanding Institution
Award’ achievement. From 1998 to 2000,
Mr Sprinkmann worked at the Hillsborough County Environmental
Protection Commission conducting solid and hazardous
waste audits with multiple companies throughout the Tampa
Bay area. There he helped businesses recycle and properly
manage solid and hazardous waste to insure compliance
with federal, state, and local hazardous waste regulations.
Mr. Sprinkmann graduated from Eckerd College in 1998
with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. |
